The new rack-supported Mezzanine maximizes storage capacity and houses over 350,000 carton boxes within 2,000 m² of floor area. The construction and layout are engineered specifically to provide Crown Records Management with high-density storage and accessibility to records. Furthermore, together with the mono-post, passageway and cargo lifting hoist, the design is conducive to the overall workflow routes.
The Mezzanine durable structure was designed to ensure that all the employees work in a safe environment, while maximizing the area’s storage capacity. To ensure protection against fire and damages, the system is decked with mesh decking panels and mesh flooring for better lighting, ventilation and water penetrations should the water sprinkler is triggered on.
