Material Handling for bins, totes and containers

Paper handling systems

System expansions for paper handling systems, specifically tailored to the throughput

Paper handling systems are the ideal supplement to conveying systems. Paper handling systems from SSI SCHAEFER are used to supplement all activities within a partially or fully automated picking warehouse and can be easily combined with existing systems. They handle the automatic orders and punctual insertion of invoices along with addressing and/or labeling all goods for shipping:

Benefits at a glance:

  • Extensive time savings through just-in-time printing, for example

  • Automated order fulfillment and processes

  • Automates time-consuming, monotonous tasks

  • Low noise emissions

APPLICATIONS

This station serves to automatically insert receipts into empty or filled load carriers. The load carriers are scanned before reaching the machine in order to initiate the order-specific receipt printing. The receipts coming out of the printer are verified. In some cases, multiple receipts are collected on a star-shaped scoop and inserted into the load carriers positioned beneath. The correctly processed load carriers continue on their way. If errors are determined during the procedure then the load carrier is diverted onto a full track for checking.

  • Easy, low-maintenance,and reliable technology

  • Various configurations are available, depending on the throughput (single/double/triple)

  • Multiple load carrier heights in one machine are possible (possible effects on performance)

Lidding and Inserting serves to automatically cover containers while simultaneously inserting an address receipt. The containers are scanned before reaching the machine in order to initiate the order-specific receipt printing. The receipts coming out of the printer are verified and temporarily stored on a special paper conveyor while the container is moved into the machine. The receipt waits in the machine where it is clamped between the container and cover. Once again, the correctly processed load carriers continue on their way. If errors are determined during the procedure then the container is diverted

  • Covering and addressing in one machine

  • Multiple container heights in one machine are possible
