More Storage Space and Greater Picking Efficiency for Grocery Retailer EDEKA

The EDEKA Group of Companies Northern Bavaria-Saxony-Thuringia is expanding its regional warehouse at the Gochsheim location and is relying on an automated solution from SSI SCHAEFER. The new automatic high-bay warehouse with a connected conveying system has been in operation since June 2021 and makes optimum use of the available space. The new intralogistics solution, including customized software, has significantly simplified the picking processes. This means that the location is ideally equipped for the future, and EDEKA can efficiently supply the local stores from here.
